MCU has quite a lot of projects to release in 2024, 2025, and beyond. We know that there are several movies being worked on currently and affected by the strikes, but none of them are as anticipated as ‘Avengers 5’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ which are expected to continue MCU’s tradition of majestic crossovers.

Just like in the case of ‘Infinity War’ and ‘Endgame,’ these two movies will also be released only a year apart from each other, but the difference is that this time, they won’t be filmed back-to-back and they’ll be developed by two separate teams of writers and directors.

Next to nothing is known about the director ‘Secret Wars,’ and the most recent rumors mentioned Sam Raimi as the prime candidate although Raimi himself debunked the rumors awhile back, claiming that the studio hasn’t asked him yet. While we don’t have any official info we can always drop names, and one of the names recently dropped was Quentin Tarantino, who is supposedly retiring and is currently developing his final movie. MyTimeToShineHello, notable leaker asked fans whether they would like to see planetary popular director helming the final movie of MCU’s phase six, and the answers were, as you would imagine:

While fans are expecting ‘Secret Wars’ to totally and utterly reset the MCU to something less complicated, we have no doubt that Tarantino would deliver a bloody, action-packed Nick Fury-led movie, unconnected to anything in the MCU. It would just be 5 hours of Fury swearing & screaming at the Avengers.

As some commenters pointed out, Tarantino would be a bad fit for the MCU, mostly due to all the constraints that come with directing a Disney movie, even if they are turning toward more mature content in recent times, for example, ‘Echo’ and the upcoming release of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’

What do you think? Tarantino yay or nay? Let us know in the comments below!
