One thing you can be sure about every day of the week, there’s always some superhero movie to be excited about. And when that movie comes out, no worries, there’s another one just around the corner. Of course, it also helps if you follow both comic book houses equally.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, probably the most anticipated Marvel movie of the year, is now out, and superhero fans won’t have much time to rest because Sony’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and DC’s The Flash are just around the corner. The AMC Theaters previously revealed that the final runtime of Across the Spider-Verse would be 2 hours and 16 minutes, which makes it the longest American animated movie of all time.

The Flash Movie’s final runtime revealed

Unlike Across the Spider-Verse, DC’s The Flash is a live-action movie, so there’s no way it can be any close to the longest superhero movie ever, but its final runtime reveals that we’ll still spend a lot of time in a theater since The Flash is still longer than Across the Spider-Verse.

According to The Flash Film News, the final runtime of the anticipated DC movie is 2 hours and 24 minutes (144 minutes). This makes The Flash only a minute longer than Aquaman and Man of Steel, which were 143 minutes long each. However, The Flash is still shorter than Wonder Woman 1984 (151 minutes), Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice (152 minutes), and let’s not forget the infamous Zack Snyder’s Justice League and its 242 minutes of runtime.

Two themes from The Flash soundtrack have been revealed!

Additionally, while we’re talking about The Flash movie, you want to know that Home of DCU on Twitter posted two music tracks from the movie’s official soundtrack. The music was composed by Benjamin Wallfisch, a British composer known for working on movies such as Blade Runner 2049, Shazam!, It, It: Chapter Two, The Invisible Man, and Mortal Kombat.

Two revealed tracks are called “Worlds Collide” and “Run.” You can check them both out down below.

The Flash movie was first announced in 2014, but it spent years in development hell before the production moved forward. Ezra Miller debuted as DCEU’s Barry Allen in 2016’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and he reprised the role in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, 2017’s theatrical version of Justice League, and 2021’s Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Now, Miller has returned to the role, and Michael Keaton returns to the role of Batman after more than three decades. Sasha Calle is also set to debut as Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl.

The Flash movie premiered at CinemaCon last month, but it was reported that the cut shown there wasn’t the movie’s final cut. Written by Christia Hodson and directed by Andy Muschietti, the Flash movie is set to be released on June 16, 2023.
