Welcome to the ending explained for Season 3, Episode 10 of ‘Superman and Lois.’ The tenth episode, titled ‘Collision Course,’ is the tensest so far, with and it’s clear we are heading toward one complicated finale, with the showrunners revealing that there might be a cliffhanger despite the Season 4 uncertainty.

This week we’ve seen Peia getting away with dirty work once again, and Kyle, of all people, has figured out that the Clark family has one giant secret to hide. But before we reveal everything, let’s go over the whole episode. If you’re interested, stay with us!

Lois gives Peia the benefit of the doubt

Lois has finally finished her round of chemo and is about to have a complicated mastectomy to remove the remaining cancer tissue. Due to this, she is trying to build up some good karma and talk some sense into Peia.

The secret that Peia and Bruno are married is out. The Smallville Gazette has published the article, and considering everything, Lois decides to visit sick Peia at the D.O.D., where she is being kept to keep her from endangering people, including her own family. She is kept behind barriers that block her superpowers, and she is in a rough state when Lois visits her, seemingly days away from death.

At the same time, Clark is trying to bond with the boys and plans a night out with them, but Jonathan and Jordan have “something better to do.” They are going to a party with alcohol organized by the Smallville seniors. Clark, of course, is not aware of that at the moment, and he even buys tickets for a wrestling event in Metropolis.

Jordan and Jonathan decline his invitation, and Clark is crushed by the fact that his sons don’t want to spend some quality time with him. He is not cool anymore, despite being a Superman.

Personal matters complicate Lana’s professional life

Lana Lang has a meeting with Governor Wexler, the two women in power have pretty similar backgrounds. Both are divorcees and single mothers trying to juggle personal lives and successful political careers. This meeting means a lot to Lana, who hopes this could kickstart her career from small-town mayor to even Congress.

Still, the fact that Chrissy will cover the meeting complicates matters, but Lana is willing to go past that. Kyle is no longer her problem; she is willing to be a better person.

Meanwhile, Chrissy is suffering from a content drought in the Smallville Gazette. She has nothing published and hopes that the Governor’s meeting will be enough to fill the quota. Kyle asks her whether she is willing to publish the story related to superhumans in Smallville.

Kyle has a theory that someone in Smallville has superpowers and has been meddling in his works for quite some time now, and he even presents her with photographic evidence.

A weird kind of ice from the crime scenes (leftover ice from Jordan’s super-breath) is pretty solid evidence, and he wants Chrissy to look into it. Knowing Clark’s secret, Chrissy refuses to do it and answers with slight ridicule. She admits finally that she doesn’t want to uncover the identity of the person who helped Smallville so much.

Kyle is pissed, but he drops the matter for now.

Peia lies to Lois Lane that she had nothing to do with Boss Moxie’s death

Lois finally has a chance to talk to Peia, and Peia agrees to make her amends to everyone. First and foremost, she hopes to set a good example for her son by admitting her wrongs to Lois. Lois has a cellphone set to record and hopes to get Peia to confess her crimes.

Everything is going well until Lois notices that Peia is lying to her. Lois asks whether Boss Moxie was aware that she and Bruno were dating at the time when he employed both of them, and Peia answers that he wasn’t aware. In fact, she and Bruno were dating long before “Lex killed Moxie.”

Lois knows that this is a lie and confronts Peia with the fact. Lois tells Peia that she knows that Lex’s confession tape has been tampered with. She tells her she knows that it’s not Lex’s voice admitting to a crime. Peia instead used her sound-based powers to merely imitate Lex’s voice.

Instead of denying it, Peia tells Lois that the world is better without Luthor. She admits that in all her life, she was afraid of only one person – Lex Luthor. He is a monster and deserves to be put behind bars.

Lois disagrees with Peia and feels awfully guilty for helping put an “innocent” man behind bars, but Peia remains steadfast that she won’t admit to anything.

At the same time, Matteo is getting ready to visit Peia. Bruno, of course, gives Matteo the cure he developed to save Peia’s life.

The senior party is not going well for Jordan, and the night is about to get worse

Lana and Governor Wexler had a meeting, and she felt confident in her abilities to impress the older politician. Governor is likewise impressed with the state of Smallville and tells Lana that a bright future is ahead of her. She inquires how Lana’s marriage ended and recounts her own story, her husband left her for a “younger” floozy, but it’s ok since he was only a deadweight.

Lana feels uncomfortable with this conversation, considering that Chrissy, who is currently dating Kyle, is merely a few steps behind them and has heard everything.

At the senior party, George Dean Junior monopolizes Sarah’s time, which is not something that Jordan is glad to see. In fact, Sarah is being quite rude to Jordan and expresses her annoyance at him joining their private conversation. Jordan is crushed and decides to confront Sarah about the matter. He confesses he regrets the day he fell in love with her.

At the same time, Jonathan and Candice are spending some quality time together, and just as Jordan is about to leave, the police come attempting to raid the place and arrest all teens at the site for underage drinking.

Sarah and George Dean Junior decide to make a break for it, Sarah is behind the wheel, and the two manage to get away from the cops, but Sarah has been drinking, and a deer jumps on the road at the last second to avoid hitting the deer Lana swerves to the side losing the control of the car.

The car flips in the air, and George and Sarah are about to be killed in a car crash when Jordan saves them from the totaled vehicle. Jordan doesn’t have time to escape when George sees him. Luckily, Jordan is in his superhero costume, and George doesn’t have time to identify him.

Kyle is among the first responders. He is mad at Sarah because of her drunk driving. He gets even more angry when George reveals that someone with superpowers has saved them. Sarah denies this, says she saw nobody and doesn’t know what George is talking about. Both George and Kyle are pissed at Sarah for obviously hiding the truth.

Peia and Matteo reunite

At the D.O.D. Lois decides once again to question Peia and beg for her confession. Peia, this time breaks and says that she will admit to everything, but she wants to see her son first. Matteo enters the room, and the barriers are dropped down.

While he is hugging Peia, she takes one of his manchettes from his sleeve as a tool to break out.

Matteo also reveals that the cure that Bruno has been working on, using the corpse of Bizarro Superman, is ready and that she is not going to die.

In Smallville, Lana is having rhubarb pie with Governor Wexler when Kyle and the patrol car park in front of the diner. Kyle says that he has something urgent to talk about with her, and Governor notices that Lana’s daughter is inside the police car, which leaves a pretty bad taste in everyone’s mouth.

Kyle reveals to Lana what happened, and Lana cuts the meeting short because she has to deal with the situation as soon as possible. Chrissy tries to make Lana look good, but the Governor seems to have her mind set about Lana.

Back at the Lang household Kyle and Lana are both lecturing Sarah, and Kyle reveals that someone with superpowers has saved Sarah and George. Of course, Lana knows Clark’s and Jordan’s secrets and acts like she knows nothing about it. This makes Kyle even angrier as everybody seems to be trying to gaslight him.

Back in the Clark household, Jordan is panicking and calling for Clark. At first, he reveals what happened, and Clark tells him not to worry. The most important thing is that he saved two lives. Everything else is something that they will deal with if the need for it arises. But he also notices that Jordan has been drinking, and now that he has figured out that both he and Jonathan bailed on him to go to a party, he is mad, and Jordan is grounded for a month, both for drinking and for refusing to spend quality time with him.

Peia escapes, and Matteo can no longer deny his involvement in his father’s criminal activities

At the D.O.D., Matteo has left the building, and Lois returns to Peia once again to get that confession. However, Peia is now seemingly cured and looks normal and healthy even after Matteo smuggled her the cure, and not only is she refusing to give Lois the confession, she aims to use her to escape.

Peia takes Lois hostage and completely demolishes the D.O.D. building with her sonic powers. This is just one more proof that Peia is a psychopath and doesn’t care what happens as long as she has the upper hand.

She had plenty of opportunities to make things better and set the record straight, but she blew every single one of them. Only when she thought she was close to death did she consider admitting her crimes and asking for absolution.

Now that she is “cured,” she is back to her standard modus operandi, killing.

Back at Smallville, Superman hears a distress call but is unable to act on it because Kyle gets to their house and wants to speak to Jonathan urgently. Kyle is convinced that Jonathan is the one with superpowers, as all evidence leads to him, besides the weird incidents started taking place in Smallville only after the Clark family moved to town.

Clark tries to reason with Kyle and tries to wrap this thing as fast as possible so he can go and save Lois, but Kyle is making it difficult. The two argue, and Clark uses a fraction of his super strength to push Kyle away from him.

Kyle starts connecting the dots, and Clark can’t delay the rescue any longer. He shoots up in the air revealing to Kyle that he has superpowers. Kyle is probably not aware that Clark is Superman, but at least he no longer thinks that Jonathan has superpowers.

Clark arrives at the D.O.D., but Peia is already long gone. She made it to Metropolis to the secret lab where Bizarro Superman is being held and reunited with her family.
