LEGO™ and Marvel are a match made in heaven as it seems, as the construction toys manufacturer is set to add several new sets to its portfolio this summer, on August 1, 2024, to be more exact. This is according to Brick Clicker notable leaker and scooper on all things related to LEGO™. Expected sets are going to span everything from notable Guardians of the Galaxy ship with quite a price tag on it to Spider-Man-inspired advent calendar, so let’s take a look at all the available info.
First in line is ‘The Milano’ with the expected revamped set following in the footsteps of Benatar, the set is bound to include a display stand and Minifigures for Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Baby Groot, and Drax. The expected price for the set stands at a steep $169.99.
Next, Iron Man vs. Hulk features 68 pieces going for around $10.99, with mini-figures of both Hulk and Iron Man, a motorbike, and a model street. Iron Legion Battle Pack inspired by ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ will come with Iron Legion androids, an HYDRA agent, and an Iron Man minifigure. The set is expected to cost $24.99 and will comprise out of 135 pieces.
Surtur Battle set inspired by ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ will include 245 pieces, a buildable Surtur model, and will set you back $24.99. Avengers vs. Loki & Leviathan comes with a model of a Leviathan with mini-figures of Captain America, Black Widow, Hulk, Loki, and Chitauri Warrior. With 347 pieces in the set, this will retail at $59.99. The Avengers Assemble: Age of Ultron continues with the Ultron theme and includes all six original Avengers. With 613 pieces this set is by far the most expensive of this list retailing at $109.99.
In September, LEGO™ is expected to release a new Marvel advent calendar, shifting focus solely to Spider-Man. The set will include Spider-Man, Ghost Spider, Miles Morales, and villains Venom and Green Goblin. There’s also an exclusive Spider-Ham snowman. The calendar contains 246 pieces and costs $44.99.
Midiscale Helicarrier is expected to come with 509 pieces and will retail at $59.99. Last but not least, Dancing Potted Groot will be one more set focusing on Goort, the model is set to include a spinning handle that will cause Groot to groove as he does in the movie. Comprising 459 pieces the model will set you back $59.99.
