In the sea of upcoming MCU projects ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ certainly stands out due to its seemingly difficult and troubled production. The movie was supposed to be released in 2024, but due to a combination of the SAG-AFTRA strike and necessary extensive reshoots, it’s been delayed for more than a year.
Little is known about the plot of the movie, except for the brief synopsis that was released some time ago. Serpent Society & King Cobra were supposed to be minor villains in the movie but according to the recent rumors, they have been removed from the movie completely.
Despite numerous changes being made to the lineup of the movie we did get confirmation early on that some characters will reprise their roles from the previous ‘Captain America’ projects and one of them was definitely Joaquin Torres aka Falcon played by Danny Ramirez. Joaquin Torres debuted in the MCU in ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.’ He is introduced as Sam Wilson’s Air Force liaison who assists him during his mission with Batroc in the opening scene. Later, he infiltrates the Flag-Smashers and proves to be invaluable to Wilson going forward which is why assumes the place of his replacement as Falcon.
Joaquin Torres is also a fairly established character from the comics at this point also holding the mantle of Falcon. Now notable scooper and leaker CanWeGetSomeToast offered us a first look at Falcon in the upcoming ‘Captain America: Brave New World’
Fans already pointed out that he looks more like Scorpion than anything. ‘Captain America: New World Order’ is scheduled to be released on February 14, 2025. Have something to add? Let us know in the comments below!
