‘Marvel Studios: Legends’ is a docuseries on Disney+ featuring characters and objects from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Each episode focuses on one character or object, using footage from past MCU films and Disney+ series to highlight their key moments.
The series, produced by Marvel Studios, premiered on January 8, 2021, and has received positive feedback for its usefulness to casual viewers. However, some criticism has been directed at its lack of new footage or documentary elements. The first season consists of 26 episodes covering Phase Four of the MCU, with a second season planned to cover Phase Five. Episodes from the second season are also available on Marvel Entertainment’s YouTube channel.
The subsequent episodes of ‘Legends’ featured characters like Falcon, Winter Soldier, Zemo, Sharon Carter, Loki, Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow, Peggy Carter, and others. The second season began in February 2023, covering characters such as Scott Lang / Ant-Man, the remaining Guardians of the Galaxy members, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Carol Danvers, and the Guardians of the Multiverse.
Now according to What’s On Disney+, new episodes of ‘Marvel Studios: Legends’ should arrive on April 15, 2024. This seems weird as those episodes drop before a big project is released which led to plenty of speculation that the latest episodes might focus on ‘X-Men ’97,’ ‘Eyes of Wakanda’ or even ‘What If…?’ Season 3.
