Antony Starr Ignites Speculation About His DCU Debut Prompting Fans to Suggest Ideal Roles for Him

Antony Starr is famous primarily for his roles in television series, notably for portraying the character of Homelander in the popular superhero show “The Boys.’ In the show, Starr plays a psychopathic “superhero” Homelander, and honestly, it’s hard imagining him as anything else these days.

So, how is Starr currently connected to the DCU? He isn’t. But fans did notice something in the last few days as co-CEO of DC studios James Gunn and Starr started to follow each other on Instagram.

This is nothing weird or strange by any means, but such following on social media usually means that the actor and the director will work together in the future, and naturally fans quickly jumped to assume who Starr could be playing.

Naturally, the most obvious choice was another psychopath, this time from DC Universe, Reverse-Flash. The rest of the fans also pointed out that considering all the rumors spreading about the Booster Gold show, it’s quite possible that Starr could play the main character, considering their physical similarities.

It’s also necessary to point out that Starr could be playing someone in ‘Peacemaker’ Season 2. The show is really close to starting filming and recently we learned that Frank Grillo was cast as Rick Flag Sr. which means that castings are still opened.

In any case, Starr will definitely be busy in the future, there’s ‘The Boys’ Season 5 currently in development, which is also set to be the final season of the show, as well as the upcoming season 2 of the highly expected ‘Gen V’ spinoff.
