‘Spider-Man 4’ is one of the most exciting projects that MCU currently has in development. The movie has been in development for quite some time now, Tom Holland confirmed a while ago that he is reprising his role as Peter Parker along with Zendaya who will be back as MJ.

Aside from that, there’s little we know about the movie. Some reports stated that ‘Spider-Man 4’ will focus more on the street-level stories within the MCU, and now the latest reports state something else entirely.

Several names have been mentioned in the context of directing the movie starting with Jon Watts, who eventually pulled out due to involvement with other projects, Sam Raimi, Justin Lin, Drew Goddard, and several others.

One of the rumored names were Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi, the directors of the ill-fated DCEU ‘Batgirl’ movie. In a recent interview with Arabic MDC, Fallah was questioned about the recent rumors. Politely, he replied, “I can’t discuss that.”

This certainly sounds interesting, and with so many names currently in the running, Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi stand out as decent candidates. Fallah and Arbi have experience with street-level heroes in the MCU, having directed two episodes of the Disney+ series ‘Ms. Marvel.’ Given their familiarity with the Marvel formula, they would be a strong choice to helm ‘Spider-Man 4’ and add fresh elements to Peter’s journey in the MCU.
