‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is one of the most exciting upcoming projects. It’s the only MCU movie bound to be released in 2024, and judging by the opinions of people who already saw parts of it, it’s going to be an MCU saver and restore the faith of fans in the franchise overall.

Just like with every anticipated project, plenty of rumors are going around about potential cameos, variants, and elements of the movie. Some have been confirmed like Garner’s Elektra, and some remain under speculation, with more and more evidence stacking to support them.

Yesterday, a new teaser for the movie was released in honor of best friends day, and aside from featuring Deadpool & Wolverine, the teaser also features what appears to be a female version of Deadpool aka Lady Deadpool, a character that was rumored to appear in the movie pretty much since the movie was announced.

There was plenty of speculations going around related to who might play the character with most of them claiming that it’s either Taylor Swift or Ryan Reyndols’ wife Blake Lively, but we all forgotten how Bella Thorne also at one point expressed wish to play her.

In her interview with ComicBookMovie, Bella claimed that Lady Deadpool is her dream role and that she adores superhero movies and all related media. When asked whether she would love to play the character, Thorne said she would definitely be up for the challenge:

Yes, superheroes are definitely fun. I love action stuff, naturally, and I do a lot of action stuff with stunts and whatnot. t’s just always really fun on set and it breaks up the work day when you get to concentrate on the body and feel and how to perform not just using your voice. That’s always really fun for me. Deadpool is my favourite. It’s so raunchy and, hello, who doesn’t love Ryan Reynolds? He just f***ing nails that role to the floor.

Thorne also pointed out how she loves the realism in the superhero movies:

What I love about Deadpool is that realism mixed with the, you know, superhero world. It’s something where we feel we can talk to this superhero now in today’s day while still having them be a superhero. I love that shit. Like, The Boys? Love that TV show.

What do you think? Would Thorne be a good fit for Lady Deadpool? Let us know in the comments below!
