Did Anthony Mackie Just Reveal That We Will See Hulk in ‘Captain America: Brave New World’!?

‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is the next MCU installment that we can look forward to. The movie is supposed to land in theaters on February 14, 2025, and so far a single trailer has been released.

The movie will be Sam Willson’s first standalone movie as Captain America and will feature Thaddeus Ross as Red Hulk, which was confirmed in the trailer.

Based on everything we know so far, the movie is supposed to focus on Sam Willson as he attempts to gather the Avengers at the behest of Thunderbolt Ross, but he will eventually figure out that Ross has ulterior motives. The movie will also touch upon the subject of dead Celestial currently peaking from Earth’s surface and on resulting production of Adamantium, one of the strongest metals in the universe.

However, that may not be all. In his recent chat with Entertainment Weekly, Anthony Mackie commented on a movie a bit and seemed to imply that yet another Hulk might show up in the movie – Ruffalo’s Jade Goliath we all know and love.

The events of ‘Hulk’ and his film don’t pertain to this movie at all. When he shows up, not Red Hulk the other Hulk, there are multiple Hulks, but there’s only one Red Hulk. There’s only one. That’s it. There will never be another Red Hulk. […] When he shows up, his world his universe, his story is completely separate from the way we utilize in him our story.

The wording is weird, but it seems like Mackie just gave us a big reveal regarding two Hulks in the movie. Keep in mind that several months ago, Ruffalo confirmed that he was going to show up in ‘Brave New World’ only to change his mind a couple of hours later and say he made a mistake.

There are also some pretty solid rumors and speculations that the MCU is setting up a World War Hulk storyline through different MCU projects. Hulk can’t get his own standalone movie just yet, due to complicated rights with Universal, but according to leakers, the World War Hulk event will be told through other projects, including ‘Brave New World’ which will be just one of many steps in turning Professor Hulk into Savage Hulk.
