For many fans, the most anticipated film of the year was Deadpool & Wolverine, featuring Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. This movie finally delivers the long-awaited partnership between these two iconic characters, allowing fans to fully enjoy their dynamic together.

The film is currently experiencing massive success in theaters worldwide, with audiences eagerly hunting for and counting the numerous Easter Eggs scattered throughout. While most Easter Eggs are quickly uncovered, some remain elusive or are only speculated about. One such intriguing theory recently surfaced on Reddit.

Specifically, Reddit user Gcrispy007 has put forward a fascinating theory regarding the true identity of a character featured in the Deadpool movies. She has shared her insights with the Reddit community, and while opinions are divided, we’ll provide you with all the details you need to form your own conclusions!

The theory centers on Peter, a friend of Deadpool who, despite having no superpowers, managed to join Deadpool’s “crew” thanks to the film’s comedic tone. Although Peter is depicted as an ordinary guy with no special abilities, some believe there might be more to him. According to the Reddit theory, here’s what might really be going on:

Slight spoiler for Deadpool and Wolverine. I know this sounds crazy, but in the marvel comics, there’s a character called the beyonder, he is the exact same in every universe and he shares one mind, basically one entity spread across every universe. In recent multiverse projects we’ve have been shown countless times that it is a mixed bunch when it comes to characters.

Spidermen are different, Loki’s are different, ect. Every universe has their own unique twists on the same character weather it’s looks, or what type of person they are, and some cases they’ll have different names and faces too. Well heres the thing, In the most recent Deadpool movie, while all the Deadpool’s are facing off, Peter comes to the rescue trying to save his Wade Wilson. And even tho there are different genders, identity’s, and races, all the Deadpool’s recognize Peter as relation to their own universes Peter, lady pool even states that every Deadpool has a Peter.

I found it interesting that every Deadpool has a friend, all named Peter (not head Peter, not dog Peter, not Pete, not lady Peter what ever her name would be.) It’s Peter. And by the fact they all recognized him, it’s safe to say that all their peters look the same aswell. We’ve never seen a multiversal character stay this consistent when it comes to name and looks. The only person described as a multiversal constant on that magnitude is the Beyonder.

And lady pool doesn’t say “we all have a Peter” she says that “EVERY Deadpool has a Peter” safe to say using that statement that as many Deadpool’s there are, there’s a Peter in that universe that looks the same as every Peter in every universe. I know this is a really far stretch, but I would rather put it out there than forget about it. It would be perfect timing to introduce the Beyonder with the introduction of doctor doom coming up given their history with eachother in the comics

As mentioned, opinions in the comments are divided—some fans find the theory compelling, while others are skeptical. We personally lean towards the latter view, but we thought this theory was intriguing enough to share. We hope you enjoy discussing it too!
