Daisy Edgar-Jones was born in London in 1998 and began her acting career with a recurring role in the 2016 TV series Cold Feet. She made her film debut in Pond Life in 2018, but it was her role in the 2019 series War of the Worlds that significantly boosted her career, leading to roles in Where the Crawdads Sing and Twisters.
