Deadpool & Wolverine, still showing in theaters worldwide and starring Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, was one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Fans eagerly awaited this major on-screen team-up and were largely thrilled with the result.

Four weeks post-premiere, audiences are still uncovering and discussing the numerous Easter Eggs in the film, which continues to enjoy global success. The movie features several iconic Marvel characters in cameo roles, some cleverly hidden beneath various Deadpool masks, as the original Deadpool battles multiple alternate versions of himself in Paradox’s timeline.

One notable variant is Nicepool, the only human Deadpool version that does not wear a mask, allowing us to see the actor in costume. If you assumed Ryan Reynolds played Nicepool, prepare for a big surprise!

As previously mentioned, Deadpool & Wolverine is packed with Easter Eggs, and even four weeks after its release, fans are still uncovering new ones. We’ve already reported on several of these, and now we have an update on a recently discovered detail.

It’s likely that most people assumed Ryan Reynolds played Nicepool. After all, it looked like his face, and his voice, and while the hairstyle was different, it seemed undeniably Reynolds, right? However, a closer look at the credits or this post reveals that Ryan Reynolds wasn’t credited as Nicepool; instead, it was listed as Gordon Reynolds!

Who, you might ask, is Gordon Reynolds? If you’re not a hardcore fan of Ryan Reynolds, you might not know. Gordon Reynolds is actually a fictional twin brother of Ryan, known for being evil and frequently mocking him. This joke originates from a humorous GQ video where Gordon interviews and roasts Ryan.

It’s definitely a hilarious moment, and the fact that Gordon was credited as Nicepool adds an extra layer of humor, especially considering what happens to him at the end.
