“The Boys” has become one of the most popular superhero series globally, and it’s gearing up for its fifth and final season, which promises to be the wildest yet, especially after the shocking twist at the end of Season 4 that plunged the world into darkness.

Season 4 was a huge success, solidifying the series as a major franchise with plenty of plans for the future. With anticipation building for the final season, we at Comic Basics are gathering all the latest scoops and updates to bring you the newest information.

In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Erin Moriarty, who plays Starlight in “The Boys,” discussed her latest film and shared insights about the show’s final season. When asked which character Starlight should kill in the final season, she gave a very intriguing response.

As you might recall from our earlier reports, showrunner Eric Kripke has teased a wild final season, warning that no one is safe. We’re certain “The Boys” will deliver even more shocking twists as the series aims to end with a bang. However, specific details about what will happen and who might meet their end are still under wraps.

With that in mind, Erin Moriarty, whose character Starlight has endured a lot over the past four seasons, was asked which supe she believes Starlight should take down in the final season. While her answer was somewhat predictable, she offered a thoughtful explanation. Here’s what she had to say:

“You know, which one, come on. Listen, I personally, I think that as of this past season, all bets are off. I think that we had certain predictions. I think she should kill Homeander. I don’t think that want or desire will or can be met. Who knows? But she’s got to at least get The Deep, let me kill the fish guy at least, bare minimum for God’s sake…But it needs to be under circumstances where she’s provoked at first because that’s her. She can’t just go and kill someone. They need to attack her and it’s self defense because she’s Annie, but she’s got to get someone and I feel like people weren’t rooting for that as much until this past season. But that concept of a cathartic karma. I think we really need it. So all of the above, all of them.”

The answer was largely predictable and unsurprising, but her explanation was excellent, hinting at some exciting character development in the upcoming season.
