One Midnight Sons Member Will Appear in ‘Agatha All Along’: Will the Team Be Formed in the MCU Soon?

‘Agatha All Along’ is the next MCU installment that fans can look forward to. The show will focus on Agatha Harkness. Following the Scarlet Witch’s spell, Agatha finds a way to break the prison and return but she is powerless. Agatha will need to gather a makeshift coven of witches who dare to walk the witches’ road in order for Agatha to find her powers once again.

The show has an interesting premise and a stellar cast. The cast for the upcoming show features Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, Joe Locke as Billy Kaplan, and Sasheer Zamata as Jennifer Kale. Ali Ahn will play Alice Wu-Gulliver, while Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, and Okwui Okpokwasili are set for roles yet to be confirmed. Debra Jo Rupp will appear as Sharon Davis, Patti LuPone as Lilia Calderu, and Aubrey Plaza as Rio Vidal/Green Witch.

Plenty of interesting characters have been teased for the show, among them Joe Locke’s “The Teen” who is most likely Billy Kaplan aka the Wiccan from the comics, Scarlet Witch’s reincarnated son. But what went under our radar is that the show marks an important landmark on the journey to integrate Midnight Sons into the MCU.

Midnight Sons have been rumored to be introduced in the MCU for a while now as according to insider reports, a project focused on them is currently in development. Several members of the potential team are already in the MCU and ‘Agatha All Along’ is bound to introduce another – Jennifer Kale.

Jennifer Kale played by Sasheer Zamata, is specialized in potions, and her powers come from alchemy and chemistry according to the show’s description of the character, however, her comic history is far more exciting.

In the comics, Jennifer Kale is Johnny Blaze’s cousin and a sorcerer apprentice of Dakimh the Enchanter. She was killed by Victoria Hand under Daniel Drumm’s influence but was later resurrected and helped Maria Hill and Elektra in battles against Bullseye and the Hand.

This means that not only will Jennifer be a potential member of Midnight Sons, but she might also cross paths with Daredevil.

So far, not much is known about the potential team in the MCU but several weeks ago, industry insiders revealed the potential roster. Sources frequently mention Wong, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Blade, Werewolf by Night, and Man-Thing as key members of the team.

Other possible members, in decreasing likelihood, include Black Knight, Scarlet Scarab, Elsa Bloodstone, Dr. Strange, and Agatha Harkness. The anticipated team size is expected to be between 6 and 9 members.
