The Boys is one of the world’s most popular superhero series. Based on the eponymous comic book, this dark take on the genre has gained significant traction on Amazon Prime and continues to push the boundaries of what can be shown on television.
With four successful seasons and a spin-off already under its belt, the showrunners are now working on the fifth and final season. Hints of an incredible conclusion abound, and given where the fourth season left us, it’s easy to believe them.
The final season is set to bring major changes, particularly for the character of Ashley, whose storyline in Season 4 suggests a grim fate. However, while Ashley’s story takes a darker turn, the actress behind the role, Colby Minifie, has proven to be a genuine sweetheart—completely different from her character in The Boys.
