If One ‘Agatha All Along’ Theory Proves Correct, Teen Might be a Villain in ‘Fantastic Four’
‘Agatha All Along’ recently premiered with the first two episodes, and that show really does have some mysteries. One of the biggest mysteries is the matter of Teen’s parentage.
The most obvious theory is that Teen is Billy Kaplan aka Billy Maximoff aka Wiccan from the comics, Wanda’s reincarnated son.
The second theory is far more unlikely but also interesting in the context of how Teen might interact with other MCU characters. According to a theory, Teen is actually Nicholas Scratch, Agatha’s long-lost son whose room she could be seen visiting in the first episode of ‘Agatha All Along.’
It’s unknown what actually happened to Nicholas Scratch but one popular theory is that Agatha sacrificed him to get her hands on Darkhold.
If Teen truly does end up being Nicholas Scratch, he might be a gateway for Dormammu in the MCU, but also one of the villains of the Fantastic Four.
Nicholas Scratch, son of Agatha Harkness, was a resident of the secretive New Salem community of magic users. Agatha left this community to live among regular people and eventually became a nanny to Franklin Richards, son of Reed and Sue Richards from the Fantastic Four.
As the leader of New Salem, Scratch convinced the community that Agatha had betrayed them, leading to her abduction for trial and execution. In the process, they also captured Franklin, prompting the Fantastic Four to intervene. During Agatha’s trial, the Four revealed they were unaware of New Salem until Scratch’s actions exposed it. Enraged, Scratch attacked and was ultimately banished to the Dark Realm.
Later, when Agatha returned with the Fantastic Four for a festival, they faced the Salem’s Seven, who defeated them and put Agatha and New Salem’s residents into a trance. The Salem’s Seven used the comatose bodies of the Fantastic Four to bring Nicholas back. Agatha managed to strip the Salem’s Seven of their powers and imprison Nicholas.
Nicholas then escaped into the Negative Zone, returning to Earth to possess Franklin. Although Gabriel the Devil Hunter contained him, he eventually broke free. However, with combined efforts, they managed to stop him, restoring the Dark Realm and resulting in Agatha stripping Nicholas of his magic and denouncing him as her son.
Now, it’s unlikely that the MCU would adapt exactly this comic book story, but keeping his villainous relationship with ‘Fantastic Four’ would be truly interesting considering the team will make their debut in the MCU next year.
