Fans Bury DCEU’s Shazam Star Zachary Levi for Endorsing Trump: “Levi is definitely getting blacklisted”

For the majority of our readers, Zachary Levi’s most popular role in recent times is that of Shazam in the DCEU. The first movie was a major hit with audiences and critics and managed to be profitable despite focusing on a relatively unknown character.

The second installment however was panned by both critics and the audiences and turned out to be a major loss for the studios. Some different factors might have added to this failure, however, like the fact that it was already known that the movie was not leading anywhere due to DCEU being buried at this point.

Following the release of ‘Shazam 2’ Levi made the news once more when he hinted that Gunn is a nepotist, calling him out for hiring his brother Sean Gunn consistently in his works. Levi most likely won’t reprise his role in the newly established DCU and this is likely what bothered him. His latest movie ‘Harold and the Purple Crayon’ flopped.

Now Levi is at the center of media attention yet again, but not for his recognition in cinema, he is being harassed by fans online for endorsing Donald Trump in the 2024 United States Presidential Elections.

Zachary Levi, who identifies as a libertarian, faced controversy back in 2023 as well for agreeing with a tweet critical of Pfizer, which was seen as echoing anti-vaccine sentiment.

He was also criticized for following Gays Against Groomers, a far-right, anti-LGBT group, on X. Levi has praised Jordan Peterson as a profound thinker and endorsed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in the presidential race before later switching his support to Donald Trump after Kennedy withdrew.

But the thing I wanted to say, and this is to Bobby’s point, we are, and you all know this, we are being inundated every single day with poison. Not just in the foods that we’re eating and not just in the pharmaceuticals that are being shoved down our throats, in the images that we are looking at, the audio that we are hearing through our media. We are being poisoned and lied to.

There is evil at the top of that food chain. But the American people that believe that Kamala is the way, they are not evil people. They have been lied to and they have eaten that lie and it is in them. So to the best that we can to, maybe practice grace, may we practice forgiveness.

Although there’s nothing inherently wrong with Levi’s endorsement as he is free to choose political options as he sees fit, fans did not share his opinion.

Aside from ‘Harold and the Purple Crayon,’ Levi has two movies currently in production ‘The Unbreakable Boy’ and ‘Not Without Hope.’
