Marvel Fans Divided Over New Casting for Hulk in the MCU

Yesterday, several rumors broke regarding ‘Captain America: Brave New World.’ After months of silence seemingly, the whole plot of the movie has leaked online and fans have a few surprises to look forward to.

Apparently, the movie is not only going to work toward setting up ‘World War Hulks’ storyline but it’s going to introduce another Hulk to the MCU – Amadeus Cho.

Cho would be at this point the fourth Hulk in the MCU alongside Banner, She-Hulk, and Thaddeus Ross’ Red Hulk. Following the Amadeus Cho leak, Daniel Richtman, notable industry insider posted on X that Cho will be played by Logan Kim.

Logan Kim is best known for his role as Liam Kwan in the 2021 film ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife,’ where he plays a tech-savvy teenager who helps the new generation of Ghostbusters in their quest to save their town.

He also gained recognition for his portrayal of Hector in the Disney+ series ‘The Mysterious Benedict Society’, demonstrating his ability to tackle complex characters and engage audiences with his charm and wit.

The reactions to this casting were somewhat mixed, with some fans claiming he is perfect for the role and some claiming that his acting in ‘Afterlife’ has been bad:

Amadeus Cho is one of the smartest characters in Marvel, and he is often compared to Iron Man and Reed Richards. His intelligence allows him to solve complex problems and develop advanced technologies.

Cho is somewhat obsessed with the Hulk and after initially helping him on a few occasions, he gets Hulk’s powers himself. Throughout his comic book history, Amadeus has been a member of various superhero teams, including the Young Avengers and the Champions.

Considering that Young Avengers were already teased in the MCU, we can count on Kim’s Amadeus Cho to be the team’s version of Hulk as apparently, the MCU is dropping Hulkling introduced in ‘She-Hulk.’
