‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is one of the most exciting MCU movies. The movie will be Sam Wilson’s first standalone movie as Captain America, and it’s also going to pit him against Ross’ Red Hulk, with the possible appearance of Amadeus Cho.

Fans already noted that the movie seems more like the Hulk movie than the Captain America movie, and I have to agree. If the reports are to be believed ‘Brave New World’ is going to kickstart the ‘World War Hulks’ storyline, so in that context it makes sense.

The plot of the movie has allegedly already leaked online, but I’m not going to spoil it for you here. Let’s just say that Sam will need all the help he can get, and the movie will lay a pretty solid foundation for the resurrection of the Avengers.

Every team needs a leader however and if Alex Perez’s latest AMA is to be believed, Sam Wilson will take over the role. Well, at least a co-leader.

Avengers in the MCU so far had three formal leaders, Steve Rogers being the first, followed by Tony Stark and lastly, Black Widow. Considering that both Iron Man and Black Widow are deceased and Steve decided to live out his life with Peggy in an alternative timeline, the team needs a leader.

Sam Wilson is the natural choice, first beacuse he is Captain America, and second because he proved himself to be worthy enough and level-headed enough during the events of ‘Falcon and the Winter Soldier.’

Still, Sam Wilson will co-lead, the other half of that “leadership” will most likely be Captain Marvel, who faced her own demons related to honor and duty in the recently released ‘The Marvels.’

What do you think? Who would you like to see leading the Avengers in the two upcoming movies? Let us know in the comments below!
