‘Spider-Man 4’ was confirmed to be in development over a year ago, and although not much is known about the movie at the moment we do know that Destin Daniel Cretton will direct it.

The script hasn’t been finished yet, according to Holland’s latest updates, but nothing is stopping us from bringing you the rumors, and in the last couple of weeks, there’s been a lot of rumors.

Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are rumored to be included in the upcoming installment. There’s also that big rumor that claims that ‘Venom’s’ Knull will be the main villain.

During his recent October AMA, Alex Perez commented on the development of the upcoming movie and shared some details regarding Peter Parker’s future in the MCU.

Fans inquired about updates on ‘Spider-Man 4,’ including casting, filming dates, and the return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Alex Perez mentioned he has some insights but no specific updates on those details.

He indicated that Tom Holland will likely receive the symbiote suit in the next few years and may keep it for subsequent Spider-Man films. Regarding Tobey and Andrew, he noted a strong possibility of their extended appearances due to the Multiverse Saga.

When asked about the balance between street-level elements and multiverse themes in ‘Spider-Man 4,’ Perez stated that while the setting is in NYC, the film is increasingly leaning towards a cosmic tone rather than just street-level.

He emphasized that pre-production details can shift frequently, urging fans to be patient for more solid confirmations.

What Perez claims is consistent with other rumors, ‘Spider-Man 4’ was heavily rumored to be a street-level story until it was revealed that Robert Downey Jr. would be portraying the next big villain in the MCU – Doctor Doom.

At that moment, the focus has shifted to the multiversal storyline. As far as the symbiote suit rumor goes, it’s also consistent with the rumors of Hardy’s Venom, Carnage, and Knull crossing over to the MCU.
