The Cat Is Out of the Bag, Episode 5 of ‘Agatha All Along’ Undoubtedly Confirms Teen’s Identity

We’re more than halfway through ‘Agatha All Along’ and it’s been due time for one of the show’s biggest mysteries to resolve. Ever since the first two episodes aired, we’ve been speculating about Teen’s identity.

I mean, if you’re a fan of the comics, and have been following our weekly updates on the show, you were likely aware from day one but not everyone likes to have their show spoiled weeks in advance.

In any case, the Teen, Agatha’s familiar, was confirmed to be Wiccan aka Billy Kaplan, aka Billy Maximoff aka Wanda’s reincarnated son (yes it’s complicated, both in the comics and in the MCU.)

Episode 5 of ‘Agatha All Along’ sees the coven approaching their third trial. This time it’s time for Agatha to show what she is made of since the trial in question is -The trial of Spirit.

Agatha, as a Spirit Witch, needs to sit down with the coven and use the Ouija board, to contact the spirits, but some specific rules need to be followed.

The first “spirit” that contacts the group is that of Mrs. Hart before the ritual quickly descends into chaos and it’s Agatha’s mother, Evanora Harkness, who possesses her daughter’s body and starts attacking the coven.

Evanora Harkness explains to the group that to solve this trial they need to leave Agatha with her. The group is uncomfortable with the notion but they are willing to accept this solution. Evanora possesses her daughter’s body again, and to save Agatha Alice Wu starts using her fire magic on Agatha.

Agatha quickly starts draining her magic, and the only thing that manages to break through to Agatha is the fact that Nicholas Scratch used the Ouija board to contact her yelling “Mom!”

Agatha is shaken back to reality, but unfortunately, she has drained too much magic and power from Alice Wu. Alice can be seen lying on the ground, completely drained of her life essence, her body shriveling like a dried raisin.

The coven is beside themselves, the Teen more so than the others. He goes outside to confront Agatha about what took place. She starts claiming that he would do exactly the same thing as he is “in it” for the power as well. She also says to him that he is so much like his own mother. Implying that the Scarlet Witch appeared pure on the surface as well.

The teen is pissed and obviously does something to the ground under Agatha since it starts swallowing her whole, it’s a quicksand and one very dangerous at that. The rest of the coven now turns their attention back to him.

He uses a bolt of blue magic to push them into the quicksand as well. The episode ends with Teen sporting a blue crown that is, in design, very familiar with the crown that Scarlet Witch wore. Confirming his identity as Wiccan.

We’ve already theorized that Teen is Wiccan based on well, pretty much everything. One of the most recent teasers however showed Teen firing up a blue bolt of magic, and that’s when we knew with certainty what we were dealing with here as Wiccan is always associated with the color blue in the comics.

Soon after the episode’s release, Marvel also posted this article. So, we’re pretty sure.
