‘Spider-Man 4’ was announced more than a year ago, but it was only recently that Destin Daniel Cretton has been announced as the director with Holland and Zendaya reportedly re-negotiating their deals.

At this stage of the movie’s development, not much is known about the overall plot. However, in the recent few months, we’ve learned via rumors that it’s going to be a Multiversal story and that we can expect the return of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.

It seems that every week there a new rumors of yet another villain being added to the film. Ranging from Green Goblin and Hobgoblin to Knull, who is both set to appear in ‘Venom 3’ and as the main villain in ‘Spider-Man 4.’

But, Knull is only supposed to be “the big bad.” Recent MyTimeToShineHello scoops claim that two minor villains have been cast for the movie, to serve as the “intro” villains before Knull takes over the movie.

Based on some previous speculations we can assume that the villains in question are Vulture and Scorpion. Michael Keaton recently claimed in an interview that no one so far approached him about a potential appearance in ‘Spider-Man 4’ so keep that in mind.

This new villain “announcements” comes in light of the upcoming Tom Holland announcement. The actor has changed his Instagram bio to “announcement tomorrow” and we can only begin to speculate what’s going to be “confirmed.”

Initial rumors claimed that ‘Spider-Man 4’ is going to be a street-level story with Kingpin set to appear and clash with Peter. However, when the MCU decided to scrap Kang and announce Downey’s Doom as the next big villain of the Multiversal Saga, the movie reportedly shifted its focus as well.
