New Rumors Reveal Which Character Will Have the Most Screen Time in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’

‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ previously titled ‘Avengers: Kang Dynasty, is MCU’s biggest surprise this year. Following Majors’ dismissal and the decision to write Kang out of the story, during this year’s SDCC it’s been announced that the upcoming ‘Avengers’ installment will see Doctor Doom played by Robert Downey Jr. pitted against MCU heroes.

This came as a shock naturally since all previous speculations we had related to the ‘Kang Dynasty’ were no longer valid. We’re left with a clean slate. We can only speculate on what the story will be.

Pretty much nothing official is known about the movie except that it will star Robert Downey Jr, however, some recent reports revealed some new information. Daniel Richtman, a notable industry insider and leaker has gotten ahold of some information regarding the technical aspects of the movie.

The shooting schedule so far looks like RDJ’s Doom will have the most screen time, by a large margin.

New information indicates that filming for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is set to begin in March 2025. Robert Downey Jr. is expected to shoot for approximately three months, while the main cast will film for about one month. The supporting cast will be on set for one to two weeks. Overall, the entire production is anticipated to last around five months.

The fact that RDJ is expected to shoot for three months and the rest of the main cast for one month left fans confused. But many also pointed out that it’s not the first time that RDJ is doing “all the heavy lifting” for the MCU:

Judging by the schedule, it looks like 70 % of the movie will be just Doom. Then again, many fans also pointed out that 5 months for such a big production deviates from the 6 months industry standard.

Fans are rightfully afraid that this means that MCU will deliver some subpar CGI, something that the studio has been criticized for heavily in the last few years.

In any case, it seems like the MCU is trying to get the most out of their money, as RDJ’s reported salary for the upcoming two ‘Avengers’ movies is eye-watering.
