New ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ Teaser Showcases a Different Look at Knull, the King in Black

Less than two weeks stand between us and the release of ‘Venom: The Last Dance.’ Based on all the trailers and teasers we’ve seen so far, Eddie and Venom will have to team up against the biggest danger the Earth has seen in the SSU yet.

The Earth will be bombarded by Xenophages, it appears that the invasion is happening, and one of the most terrifying Marvel villains you can imagine might be behind it – Knull.

Knull has been confirmed to be a part of the movie around a month ago. Not much is known about the character’s role except what we’ve heard via rumors and speculations. The character is played by Andy Serkis, and will have a minor cameo role – in fact, Eddie and Venom won’t even interact with him over the course of the movie.

The trailer really didn’t showcase much about Knull except for a few strategically chosen shots. Now the latest teaser published on X offered a better look at the King in Black:

You can see that Knull is sporting his trademark white hair and is surrounded by well, comic-accurate surroundings. What worries us is that all promotional materials related to Knull are using the same 2-3 shots that we’ve already mostly seen in the trailer.

This personally leads me to believe that it’s all taken from a post-credit scene, which would confirm the rumors that Knull’s role in ‘Venom 3’ would be a cameo role.

Still, even if Knull’s role ends up being a minor one, a lot of industry insiders are claiming that Knull will crossover to the MCU and that he will be the main villain in the upcoming ‘Spider-Man 4.’ So at least there’s something to look forward too.
