Billy Maximoff Returns to the MCU—Can We Expect Tommy in ‘Agatha All Along’ Too?

One of ‘Agatha All Along’s’ biggest mysteries was the identity of Joe Locke’s “The Teen.’ In the latest episode of ‘Agatha All Along,’ it was revealed that the boy in question was actually Wanda’s reincarnated son – Billy Maximoff aka Billy Kaplan aka Wiccan.

Now this presents a considerable mystery of its own. As by the end of the show we need to figure out who put that sigil on Billy, how he appeared back in Westview, how on earth is he a teenager and what happened to his brother Tommy.

If you’ve watched ‘WandaVision’ you know that both Billy and Tommy disintegrated when Wanda was ready to embrace her grief and deal with the loss of Vision. In the comics, Billy and Tommy were given life using the souls that Wanda stole from Mephisto.

Perhaps we can see a similar point play out in the MCU as well. It’s quite possible that Mephisto is involved with Wiccan’s return to Westview and that he is behind Teen’s sigil.

It’s also quite possible that Teen is aware of his past, or he has doubts about his past and that he has made a deal with the dark entity in order to locate his mother or his brother. Perhaps that’s the reason why he begged Agatha to take him to the Witches Road.

Remember, Billy sought Agatha on his own in order for her to take him to the Witches Road, the reason so far wasn’t addressed in the show – but I have a feeling it’s connected to his brother more than anything.

We likely won’t see Tommy in ‘Agatha All Along’ in a significant role, perhaps a cameo or a post-credit scene in the last episode. But we also can’t ignore the rumors surrounding some upcoming Marvel projects.

There are several rumors that Marvel Studios is planning on adapting ‘The Children’s Crusade’ storyline. There have also been some rumors that MCU is planning a solo project focusing on Wiccan looking for his brother Tommy.

As you can see, it’s really likely that we’re going to see Tommy in the MCU eventually, after all, Young Avengers are also set to debut in the universe, and both Wiccan and Speed were at one point members.

However, it’s likely that Tommy won’t have any noticeable role in ‘Agatha All Along’ as the showrunner explained it’s Agatha’s show and she shouldn’t be overshadowed.
