Despite the controversy surrounding it, Lanterns is shaping up to be a highly anticipated series that fans are eager to see. Not long ago, details about the series were scarce, aside from the fact that it would be an Earth-based murder mystery in the vein of True Detective, featuring two iconic Lanterns: Hal Jordan and John Stewart.

After some casting controversies regarding Hal Jordan, it’s now confirmed that Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre will portray the two Lanterns.
