One Line in ‘Agatha All Along’ Episode 6 Sparks Marvel Fans’ Conviction That Wanda Is Making a Comeback
Episode 6 of ‘Agatha All Along’ finally sheds some light on several important mysteries regarding The Teen. In last week’s episode, we got a confirmation that Teen really is Wiccan aka Billy Kaplan aka reincarnated Billy Maximoff.
In this week’s episode, we finally got the answer to the mystery of how is Billy now grown up and how is he alive in the first place seeing that the last time we saw the boys was when Wanda disintegrated them after she made peace with her grief.
As it turns out Billy’s first brush with magic was during his Bart Mitzvah, and surprisingly the first witch he ever met was Lilia Calderu as she was giving palm readings at his celebration.
The first hint for Lilia that something isn’t quite right is when she sees that Billy’s life is broken in two parts. The past is Billy Kaplan and the future presumably is Billy Maximoff.
She was the one who put a sigil on the Teen that stopped him from revealing who he was. She just couldn’t remember. Agatha confirmed that the Witch who put that sign on him likely won’t remember it and that the sigil will be broken when it’s no longer needed.
At the end of the episode, when Agatha finally figures out what Billy is looking for, his brother Tommy, she also confirms that Billy’s sigil is no longer in function. He is surprised that Agatha can hear him saying his name and Agatha answers with:
Every witch with a beating heart can hear you now
Now this is clearly a reference to the fact that only witches who are ALIVE can hear him now. But fans seemingly took something altogether opposite from this, as they are convinced this is a confirmation that Scarlet Witch is alive in the MCU and that she will soon make her return.
The fact that Billy’s sigil seemingly blocks all hints of his existence from Witches might explain how Wanda was unable to sense him before.
