Regardless of your opinions on the show, it’s hard to deny that Agatha All Along is filled with mysteries. The series, which is performing well on Disney+ and has garnered positive feedback from both fans and critics, is characterized by its intriguing enigmas.

While some fans have managed to solve certain mysteries ahead of their reveal in the show, many questions remain unanswered. The series thrives on its enigmatic elements, providing fans with plenty to anticipate.

With this in mind, we’ve decided to revisit the cards featured in the series. In a previous article, we explored the meaning of Agatha’s card, and now we’ll dive into the significance of the “Tower Reversed” card, which may offer insights into the series’ future.

The event in question occurs in Episode 6 of the series, titled “Familiar by Thy Side.” This episode centers around Billy Kaplan’s Bar Mitzvah celebration, where the witch Lilia reads his future.

While she examines his palm and reveals a split lifeline, she utters “Tower Reversed” randomly out of the blue, just like the previous hints she dropped. But what does this mean?

The Tower card holds significant meaning in tarot. According to A. E. Waite’s 1910 book, The Pictorial Key to the Tarot, it represents the following:

16. THE TOWER.– Misery, distress, indigence, adversity, calamity, disgrace, deception, ruin. It is a card in particular of unforeseen catastrophe. Reversed: Negligence, absence, distribution, carelessness, distraction, apathy, nullity, vanity.

This fate is quite grim, but typically, drawing a reversed card in tarot indicates the opposite of its upright meaning. However, in the case of The Tower, even the reversed interpretation isn’t particularly positive.

This highlights the importance of exploring what this could mean for Billy’s future. While we can’t say for sure, we came across an intriguing theory on Reddit that might shed some light on it:

The tower reversed means avoiding a disastrous event.. Did Lilia place the sigil on him to hide him from darkhold WANDA in MoM.. If wanda sensed him she would have destroyed William instantly and effortlessly to get her whole sons being back..

and by doing this she avoided that (the tower reverse = avoided) or did the sigil work as a protection spell and saved his soul which is why billie and him now coexist in the body instead of just billie because technically he did die..

We agree with the first part of the theory, which suggests that Billy has somehow avoided danger. However, this doesn’t guarantee anything positive for his character.

There’s a lot of darkness ahead, and the series will delve deeper into Agatha’s role in the story, which will likely connect to Billy’s journey. Additionally, a potential cameo from Wanda could also have an impact. Whatever unfolds, the future looks intriguing and exciting!
