At this year’s New York Comic Con, Marvel Comics made a major announcement during the Spider-Man and His Venomous Friends panel. The panel featured Senior Editor Jordan D. White, Venom writer Al Ewing, and New York Times best-selling author Charles Soule. Together, they revealed an exciting new addition to the Symbiote saga: Eddie Brock: Carnage.

Launching in February, this new series picks up after the events of Venom War, with Eddie Brock now bonded to the notoriously violent Carnage symbiote. Charles Soule, known for his acclaimed Star Wars run, will write the series, while artist Jesus Saiz, who recently worked on Captain America and Punisher, will bring the story to life.

In Eddie Brock: Carnage, Eddie faces the grim reality of controlling the Carnage symbiote’s insatiable bloodlust. Charles Soule explained, “Eddie’s in a difficult position, forced to satisfy Carnage’s hunger by hunting down serial killers. But as Carnage craves even more dangerous thrills, things will get intense.” Soule added, “We’re exploring horror storytelling, and Jesus is excelling with the eerie, macabre elements.”

The series will tie into All-New Venom, which introduces a new host for the Venom symbiote. This sets the stage for Eddie’s darkest bond yet as he merges with Carnage. The question remains—can Eddie control the monster inside, or will he be overtaken by its deadly nature?

The debut issue, Eddie Brock: Carnage #1, will feature a cover by Iban Coello and a special Foil Variant Cover by Mark Bagley, both releasing on February 12th.

This series promises a thrilling dive into Marvel’s darkest realms, with death lurking at every turn. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks!
