Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Reportedly to Reunite with a Familiar Character in Upcoming ‘Scarlet Witch’ Film

Marvel fans have plenty to be excited about as rumors hint at a solo Scarlet Witch movie, possibly arriving in 2026. Elizabeth Olsen is expected to return as Wanda Maximoff, with WandaVision and Agatha All Along writers Jac Schaeffer and Megan McDonnell reportedly working on the script.

According to sources like MTTSH, a thrilling twist may be in store. Wanda could face her former nemesis, Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn, but this time, the two might join forces to battle a new threat.

This rumor aligns with developments in the Disney+ series Agatha All Along, where Agatha is now allied with Wanda’s son, Billy Maximoff.

Wanda’s last appearance in the MCU was in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where her character’s dark turn ended in apparent redemption, as she sacrificed herself to destroy the Darkhold.
