Are New Rumors Hinting That Billy Maximoff Will Be the Villain in ‘Agatha All Along’?

‘Agatha All Along’ is the latest MCU installment. The show picks up 3 years following the events of ‘WandaVision’ and sees Agatha trying to reclaim her powers on the Witches Road after she’s been freed from her magical prison at the hands of Billy Maximoff.

The mystery of Billy’s true identity was revealed only recently, in episode 5 after her attacks Agatha and traps her along with Jennifer Kale and Lilia Calderu in a magical quicksand.

Now obviously, we knew that Billy was Wanda’s son, as only a limited number of gay teenagers in the Marvel universe have a close connection to Scarlet Witch. What we didn’t know however was that Billy was aware of his identity the whole time and sought Agatha for a very good reason.

Initially, he claimed that he was looking for power, and that seemed plausible enough since he couldn’t cast a spell without the help of the spellbook. He joined the coven under the pretense of being Agatha’s familiar.

Later however, the showrunner Jack Shaffer confirmed that Billy was supposed to be the member of the coven in the first place. The black heart symbol that Lilia Calderu drew on a piece of paper in order for Agatha to recruit the members of her coven represented Billy – not Mephisto’s Blackheart as we initially assumed.

This led fans to develop their own theories, like for example, what if Billy is the true villain of ‘Agatha All Along’? Like mother like son right?

This is something that the notable leaker account MyTimeToShineHello recently implied in their tweet:

According to the tweet in the final two episodes, Billy should be revealed as “the villain.” Certainly, when Billy becomes aware of Agatha’s exact connection to his family he might be mad. He is already mad at Agatha for being power-greedy and killing Alice Wu, in what appeared to be a self-defense accident.

It’s unclear at this moment whether Billy is the villain due to having connections to Mephisto or some other kind of demon, or he is perhaps a villain beacuse of what he will do when he finds out the whole truth.

Wiccan is currently searching for his brother, as he claims he can feel him on the Witches Road, as for the rest of the story, we’re going to have to wait for the final two episodes.
