‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is the next MCU installment that we can look forward to. The movie is supposed to land in theaters on February 14, 2025, but the first screenings were reportedly unfavorable.
The movie will be Sam Willson’s first standalone movie as Captain America and will feature Thaddeus Ross as Red Hulk, which was confirmed in the trailers.
Red Hulk is one of the most famous variants of Hulk in Marvel Comics, so it’s not strange that the character’s introduction to the MCU is generating insane hype. Little is known about Red Hulk at this point, but it seems that merch related to the movie managed to spoil one detail related to the creation of Red Hulk.
The box description on Instagram stated that Red Hulk is a “monster of Samuel Sterns’ making,” whose skin emits intense heat and burns anything it touches. Red Hulk’s comic-accurate fire powers were also confirmed via toys:
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is bound to the Sterns’ second live-action MCU project. He was originally a cellular biologist and professor at Grayburn College, and was working on finding a cure for Bruce Banner’s condition.
He successfully developed a temporary antidote for Banner, but also inadvertently transformed Emil Blonsky into the Abomination. When Sterns was exposed to Banner’s blood, his mental abilities rapidly increased due to a mutation. Natasha Romanoff intervened and subdued him, delivering him to S.H.I.E.L.D. for custody.
Time Blake Nelson was also confirmed to reprise his role. This is not the first time that a merch leak spoiled something related to ‘Captain America: Brave New World. Several months ago, McDonald’s Toy spoiled that Diamondback would appear in the movie and revealed her comic-accurate costume.
