The second-to-last episode of “Agatha All Along” got 4.6 million views on its first day on Disney+, nearly 10% more than the 4.2 million views Episode 7 received in the same period.

Episode 9, which premiered the same night, had 3.9 million views on its first day. Disney calls the last two episodes a “two-part finale,” and while Episode 9 is slightly behind the previous two in views, it may catch up over the weekend.

When Disney shared Episode 7’s 4.2 million views, it noted a 35% jump from the series premiere, which puts Episode 1 at about 3.1 million first-day views. (Originally, Disney reported Episode 1’s views at 9.3 million, but that total was across a week.)

Episodes 8 and 9 show even more growth, with Episode 8 up by 48% and Episode 9 up by 26% over the premiere.

There’s no viewership data available for Episodes 2 through 6 of “Agatha All Along.”

Disney, like Netflix, counts views by dividing total watch time by the episode’s length. This means Episode 8 was watched for about 3.4 million hours, and Episode 9 for about 2.7 million hours, given their respective 48- and 41-minute runtimes.

Because Disney doesn’t have a standard view-counting period, it’s hard to directly compare “Agatha All Along” to other Disney+ shows, as they usually report views over several days, not just one.

For example, the premiere of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” got 13.3 million views over six days, and “The Acolyte” and “Ahsoka” from Star Wars launched with 11.1 million and 14 million views, respectively, over five days.

Still, “Agatha’s” premiere-week total of 9.3 million views puts it close to “Percy Jackson” and “The Acolyte.” Disney only shared stats on those shows’ first episodes, so there’s no final data to compare.
