Disney’s New Worlds of Marvel Experience Delivers the MCU Team-Up Fans Have Been Waiting For

While ‘The Marvels’ may have been a box office disappointment, it laid the groundwork for one of Marvel Comics’ most beloved superhero teams – the Young Avengers.

At the movie’s conclusion, Kamala Khan visits Kate Bishop to discuss a possible team-up and mentions Cassie Lang, who recently adopted the superhero name Stature after helping her father, Ant-Man, defeat Kang the Conqueror in the Quantum Realm.

When the film was released, rumors and insider reports buzzed about a potential Young Avengers project, but since then, nothing has been confirmed, and the project has never been officially announced by the studio.

Now it seems that we’ve gotten a step closer to this project becoming a reality as one interesting team-up has been teased at Worlds of Marvel Experience.

Worlds of Marvel, first launched on Disney Wish in 2022, is a unique Marvel-themed dining experience with interactive shows featuring Marvel Studios stars. Ahead of the Disney Treasure’s launch on December 21, Disney gave a sneak peek of the second Worlds of Marvel, including a post-credits scene with the Young Avengers.

During a preview of the Disney Treasure cruise, the new Worlds of Marvel restaurant showed a never-before-seen scene with three young MCU heroines who might join the Young Avengers.

In the clip, Tony Stark’s AI assistant FRIDAY introduces the “youngest heroes,” including America Chavez, Cassie Lang, and Riri Williams.

Cassie Lang was already in the spotlight during ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ and she is now officially known as Stature in the MCU. America Chavez got her magnificent entry to the franchise with the release of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.’ Riri’s standalone show ‘Ironheart’ which releases in 2025.

There are quite a few expected faces missing from this team, as Kamala Khan, who started the initiative will be part of the team as well. We can also count on Kate Bishop and Wiccan to join the team.
