‘Creature Commandos’ Debuts With Glowing Rotten Tomatoes Score Already Outshining DCEU

‘Creature Commandos’ releases in just a few days, but the review embargo was lifted yesterday and the show debuted on Rotten Tomatoes with an absolutely perfect 100% critics score.

This makes the show the best-reviewed DC Comics adaptation ever, surpassing popular titles like ‘The Penguin’ and ‘The Dark Knight.’ It’s also the highest starting score out of any former DCEU project.

Currently, now that more reviews have accumulated the show still stands quite strong with a 94% critics score based on 17 reviews. The majority of the reviews are still positive.

The DCU starts off with a bang! Creature Commandos is funny, violent & gory, while still being serious, with emotions at its core. We get to learn more of each member bit by bit & the music is great. Weird, splashy & fun. [Full review in Spanish]

Comic Basics gave ‘Creature Commandos’ a strong score of 6 out of 10, noting that while the introduction to the DCU is quite strong, the show is a carbon copy of previous Gunn projects meaning that it lacks the freshness and originality expected for the start of something as major as the new cinematic universe.
