‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is certainly one of the most exciting upcoming MCU releases. The movie was voted as the #1 most highly awaited movie by Fandango audiences and for a good reason. ‘Brave New World’ will feature Sam Wilson as Captain America for the first time in a standalone movie. It will also feature some notable villains like Nelson’s The Leader and Harrison Ford’s Red Hulk.

The movie’s plot is mostly a mystery, but we know Sam Wilson will be asked by Thunderbolt Ross to bring the Avengers back together and will face some major threats along the way.

Every superhero team needs a leader, and if Nate Moore, the movie’s producer is to be believed, Sam Wilson is ready to take that mantle. Moore suggests there’s plenty more to explore with Captain America, hinting that Sam Wilson will face even bigger challenges ahead.

He also believes the Avengers are strongest with Captain America as their leader, and the movie will explore questions about the team’s future and whether Sam is the right person to lead them.

There is certainly more story to be told for Captain America. Sam might find that, moving forward, he might be jumping out of the frying pan and into the proverbial fire.

I think that Avengers teams are best when they are led by a Captain America. And this movie gives us a little bit of space to talk about, ‘Where are the Avengers? What does it mean to have Avengers? And is Sam the right guy to lead them?

This is not the first time that Sam has been hinted at as the new leader of the Avengers. It makes sense for him to take over the mantle, but industry insiders have been teasing this new position for him for close to a year now.

Some rumors however pointed out that Avengers will perhaps have two leaders, Captain America and Captain Marvel. Given the way ‘The Marvels’ ended and Carol’s military background, this seems like a viable option as well.
