‘Agatha All Along’ recently aired its final two episodes, wrapping up character storylines while teasing future developments. Originally planned as a miniseries like other MCU Disney+ shows, it has been a success, according to Marvel’s Head of TV and Streaming, Brad Winderbaum, who is excited to explore more stories from WestView.

With awards season here, the show has earned numerous nominations confirming once more that both fans and the artistic community liked with Jac Schaeffer and the cast delivered.

The show’s success has made fans excited for more ‘Agatha All Along’ content. The way the show ended clearly hinted at more stories to come, especially for the main characters like Agatha (played by Hahn), Billy (played by Locke), and Lady Death (played by Plaza).

Now industry insider Daniel Richtman claims in his paid newsletter that the show isn’t yet renewed for season 2, but it’s definitely close to renewal.

Although Disney+ usually makes limited series, shows like ‘Loki,’ ‘X-Men ’97,’ and ‘What If…?’ got multiple seasons. ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ was also renewed for a second season before its first season even came out, so there’s hope for more!

Several rumors and hints from the studio also pointed toward the show getting a second season. The official Marvel Studios account has been hiding replies that said the show will get a second season.

Disney+ also has submitted ‘Agatha All Along’ in the comedy category for upcoming awards like the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, and Emmys, instead of as a “limited series.” This could suggest that the show isn’t finished yet, and the positive fan response might have made the studio reconsider its status.
