DC and Sonic the Hedgehog Team Up for Epic Crossover with the Justice League!

Sonic the Hedgehog is speeding into the DC Universe to team up with the Justice League in an exciting new crossover event that fans of both worlds will love. While DC is known for crossovers—like when Superman fought Rick Sanchez—this one promises to be even more thrilling, as Sonic and his friends join forces with DC’s top heroes for an unforgettable adventure.

The official preview of this crossover will appear in DC’s March 2025 releases, giving fans their first glimpse of Sonic’s adventure with the Justice League. Ian Flynn and Adam Bryce Thomas, who are well-known for their work on the Sonic comics at IDW Publishing, are back to bring this epic team-up to life.

In this miniseries, Darkseid will invade Sonic’s world and attack him and his friends. Fortunately, Sonic will get help from the Justice League. Sonic, Shadow, and others will team up with the Justice League to face this threat, bringing together action from both worlds.

It’s a crossover event unlike any other! The monstrous Darkseid crosses dimensions to invade the world of Sonic the Hedgehog, seeking the ultimate power. Sonic and his friends have faced everything from mad scientists to ancient spirits, but the forces of Apokolips may be too much for them. Thankfully, the full heroic might of the Justice League arrives to back them up! Don’t miss part one of this unique crossover event!

The Sonic and Justice League crossover was first announced in September during a Sonic Central livestream. Ivo Gerscovich, Head of SEGA Brands, talked about the miniseries and showed new artwork featuring Sonic characters dressed as DC heroes.

For example, Shadow the Hedgehog will wear a Batman costume, Amy Rose will be dressed as Wonder Woman, and Silver the Hedgehog will have a Green Lantern ring. Fans can see these new designs in action in the upcoming DC x Sonic the Hedgehog series.

‘DC x Sonic the Hedgehog’ #1 will be released on March 19th, 2025, by DC Comics.
