Blake Lively’s accusations of sexual harassment and a smear campaign against her by director and co-star Justin Baldoni have sparked a wave of public support.

Among those standing with Lively is her It Ends With Us co-star Brandon Sklenar, who played Atlas Corrigan, her character’s childhood sweetheart. Sklenar shared her complaint on his Instagram story, urging his followers to read it and tagging Lively with a heart emoji.

Sony Pictures, the studio behind It Ends With Us, has also reaffirmed its backing of Lively. In a statement, a spokesperson condemned any efforts to damage her reputation, emphasizing that such actions “have no place in our business or in a civil society.”

The allegations accuse Baldoni of fostering a toxic work environment and targeting Lively with a social media smear campaign. Lively claims these actions caused her and her family significant emotional harm. In response, Baldoni’s lawyer denied the allegations, calling them false and shameful.

SAG-AFTRA voiced its support for Lively, praising her bravery in coming forward. The organization highlighted the importance of safe working conditions and applauded her request for an intimacy coordinator on set. “Retaliation for reporting misconduct is illegal and wrong,” the union stated.

Others in the industry have also shown their support. Colleen Hoover, the author of It Ends With Us, shared a heartfelt message praising Lively’s kindness and authenticity. Lively’s co-stars from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, along with director Paul Feig, Amber Heard, and Lively’s sister Robyn, have all publicly expressed their solidarity.

The fallout for Baldoni has been swift. WME, the agency that also represents Lively, has dropped him as a client. Additionally, Liz Plank, co-host of Baldoni’s Man Enough podcast, announced her departure, expressing her commitment to supporting those who stand against injustice.

The allegations have opened a broader conversation about workplace safety and accountability in Hollywood. As support continues to grow for Lively, the situation underscores the importance of addressing misconduct and protecting those who speak out.
