Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano recently surprised tourists at the Warner Bros. backlot in Burbank with a fun nod to their famous TV roles while promoting their new Netflix show, No Good Deed. The lighthearted moment unfolded near the iconic Friends couch, a must-see spot for fans visiting the lot.
In a video shared on Instagram by the show’s creator, Liz Feldman, Romano chatted with a group of visitors, reminding them that Everybody Loves Raymond was also filmed on the Warner Bros. lot.
“Everyone’s always like, ‘Oh, Friends!’ But we filmed just two stages down. Don’t forget that,” he joked, making the group laugh.
Kudrow soon joined the fun, adding her own humor to the moment. When she saw Romano near the Friends couch, she teased, “Go sit on your own show’s couch!” She then joked, “He keeps coming to this couch because he wants more attention.” Fans were thrilled to see the Friends star in person.
This unexpected interaction doubled as a promotion for No Good Deed, Feldman’s latest project. The dark comedy, which debuted on Netflix on December 12, stars Kudrow and Romano as Lydia and Paul, a couple trying to sell their gorgeous 1920s Los Angeles home. But the house holds dark secrets they must hide from potential buyers, each hoping the property will fix their own lives.
Created by Feldman, who also worked on Dead to Me, the eight-episode series blends humor and mystery as it explores what happens when past secrets refuse to stay hidden. Silver Tree directs and executive produces alongside Feldman, with Gloria Sanchez Productions’ Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Christie Smith also serving as executive producers.
For the lucky tourists that day, the mix of nostalgia from two beloved sitcom stars and the excitement of a new series made for an unforgettable experience.
