Netflix’s Top 10 Most Watched Movies of All Time: Some New Arrivals Made The Cut

Some new arrivals are on the list and some titles that you are likely expecting. The biggest surprise on the list is definitely the recently released ‘Carry On’ action thriller directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by T. J. Fixman. The film stars Taron Egerton, Sofia Carson, Danielle Deadwyler, and Jason Bateman.

The story follows a young TSA officer who is blackmailed into letting a nerve agent on a flight on Christmas Eve. Released on Netflix on December 13, 2024, the film received positive reviews and had more views in its opening week than any other Netflix film in 2024.

With 149,400,000 views in total, ‘Carry On’ managed to secure the fifth place on the list. Very impressive.

Notable horror, ‘Birdbox’ still keeps a high place on the list at 4th place with 157,400,000 views followed by the aforementioned ‘Carry On’ and ‘Leave the World Behind,’ a movie based on a novel of the same name staring Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali, Ethan Hawke and Myha’la.

‘The Gray Man,’ ‘Damsel,’ ‘We Can Be Heroes’ found themselves in 7th, 8th, and 9th places respectively and the list is concluded by the 2023 movie ‘The Mother’ starring Jennifer Lopez, Joseph Fiennes, Lucy Paez Omari Hardwick, Paul Raci, and Gael García Bernal. It is about a former US army operative (Lopez) who partners with an FBI agent to rescue her teenage daughter after she is kidnapped by criminals.
