Doctor Doom is taking his grip on the Marvel Universe to a whole new level. After rising to the title of Sorcerer Supreme during last summer’s Blood Hunt, Victor Von Doom is now using his mystical prowess to conquer the planet in One World Under Doom. This major Marvel Comics event begins next month, promising a dramatic shake-up to the status quo.

The saga will be told across a nine-issue main series penned by Ryan North, with art by R.B. Silva. In addition to its core narrative, the event will include tie-in issues exploring the broader impact of Doom’s reign. The series offers a deep dive into the complexities of Doom’s rule and the futile attempts of Earth’s heroes to bring him down.

One of the most anticipated moments arrives in One World Under Doom #3, set to hit shelves on April 23. After crushing the Avengers, Doom’s dominance forces Earth’s Mightiest Heroes into a desperate alliance with an unlikely group of supervillains. The roster includes heavyweights like M.O.D.O.K., Doctor Octopus, and Goblin Queen, each with their own motives for opposing Doom.

The Avengers’ new plan is a bold one: uniting both heroes and villains to overthrow Doom. But things won’t be straightforward. A simultaneous magic attack exposes the chilling truth about how Doom seized control, raising alarming questions about whether anyone can challenge his power. Meanwhile, other mysterious forces are watching Earth with dangerous intentions.

Ryan North teased the stakes, saying, “This issue features a huge fight – all the heroes and villains versus Doom. It’s not just exciting to write, but seeing it come to life through R.B. Silva’s art has been incredible.” North hinted that the outcome would be unexpected, paving the way for an even more intense confrontation in the following issue.

Expect some unforgettable moments, especially as characters like M.O.D.O.K. and Doctor Octopus clash with Doom for their own reasons. Marvel has shared cover art for the issue, featuring a striking main cover by Ben Harvey and a stunning variant by Gabriele Dell’Otto.
