The teaser trailer has revealed some interesting plot points and characters that we can expect in the upcoming first season. Muse will be the villain in the series. White Tiger will also make an appearance confirming the speculation that started with set leaks, and Bullseye will start the season in jail.
It appears that Matt Murdock and Kingpin will have some kind of an understanding but it will presumably fall through. The show connects to Ms. Marvel surprisingly by showcasing Yusuf Khan, the father of Kamala Khan. We can also see that Matt and Frank are reunited – also something that set footage has already confirmed.
Daredevil: Born Again features Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock. Vincent D’Onofrio is back as Wilson Fisk, a crime boss running for mayor, and Jon Bernthal returns as the Punisher, a dangerous vigilante. Other important characters are Murdock’s love interest Heather Glenn played by Margarita Levieva, his friend Karen Page, played by Deborah Ann Woll and his law partner Foggy Nelson, played by Elden Henson along with some new characters in the series.
The official summary of the show says:
Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
The first season will have nine episodes. It was initially planned to have 18 episodes, split into two sets of nine before the second season was confirmed.
