‘Ted Lasso’ Actor Nick Mohammed Hints at Season 4 Filming in a Recent Post
Nick Mohammed has stirred up excitement among fans about a possible return of Ted Lasso. With the latest Season 4 news back from August last year, Mohammed, who plays Nate Shelley, has now hinted at something big in a recent video shared on social media.
In the clip, Mohammed announced that dates for his Show Pony comedy tour had to be rescheduled due to filming commitments he “couldn’t shift for love or money.” He didn’t reveal what the filming was for but gave fans a big clue when he briefly held up the iconic “BELIEVE” sign from Ted Lasso.
The reference was hard to miss, and fans quickly connected the dots, hoping this meant the show’s comeback.
Mohammed tried to keep the details under wraps, asking people not to speculate about what the project might be. However, his playful tease did little to stop fans from buzzing with excitement. After all, Ted Lasso ended its third season in 2023, leaving the door open for more despite Jason Sudeikis referring to it as “the end of this story.”
Adding to the speculation, Warner Bros. Television recently extended contracts for key cast members like Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift. Juno Temple is also reportedly in talks to return, fueling hopes for another season.
While Ted Lasso’s creators and cast remain tight-lipped, co-creator Bill Lawrence once said that the show’s future depends on Jason Sudeikis. “He’s the heart and voice behind the show,” Lawrence shared. Fans are left hoping that Sudeikis’s decision might already be in the works, given these latest hints.
