(TRAILER) Lunar New Year Period Rom-Com Drama Series ‘Perfect Match’ Arrives on Netflix January 25

The romantic comedy series Perfect Match is arriving just in time for Lunar New Year, with a global release set for January 25 on Netflix. This heartwarming drama explores themes of love and family, making it a delightful choice for the holiday season.

The series follows Madam Li, played by Ni Hong-jie, as she moves her five daughters to the bustling city of Bianjing to open a teahouse. From there, the Li family’s story unfolds, with each daughter embarking on her unique journey of love and self-discovery.

Ni Hong-jie describes Perfect Match as more than just a light and entertaining historical drama. It’s a story about family bonds and perspectives on marriage, offering relatable life lessons and a sense of encouragement to viewers. The five daughters each find love in their own way. Kangning, the third daughter, played by Lu Yu-xiao, initially clashes with Chai An (Wang Xing-yue), the landlord of the city, but their fiery start soon leads to romance. Meanwhile, Fuhui (Wu Xuan-yi), the second daughter, navigates a complicated relationship with her reserved husband, Fan Liang-han (Huang Sheng-chi).

Shouhua, the eldest daughter (Liu Xie-ning), unexpectedly marries a scholar, Du Yang-xi (Chen He-yi), while fourth daughter Haode (Ke Ying) meets Shen Hui-zhao (Liang Yong-qi), a magistrate judge. Lastly, the youngest daughter, Leshan (Huang Yang Tian-tian), finds herself in a spirited rivalry with the mischievous Yang Xian (Dong Si-cheng), which soon develops into a battle of hearts.

As the Lunar New Year approaches, the cast shared their warm wishes with fans. Ni Hong-jie expressed hope for happiness and good fortune in the coming year, while Wang Xing-yue humorously invited everyone to visit Bianjing for the finest tea.
