‘The Night Agent’ Season 2 Soars to No. 1 on Netflix Top 10 with 13.9 Million Views!

Season 2 of ‘The Night Agent’ became the most-watched Netflix series during the week of Jan. 20-26, racking up 13.9 million views in its first four days.

While its debut was strong, it didn’t match the launch of Season 1 in 2023, which had 168.7 million hours watched in just four days, equating to about 20.6 million views. The success of Season 2 also brought more viewers back to Season 1, which earned 4.9 million views and landed in fourth place on the charts that week.

‘Back in Action’ stayed at No. 1 on the English-language film list for the second week, with 46.8 million views. ‘Ad Vitam’ topped the non-English language films list for the third week, earning 8.4 million views. ‘The Recruit’ Season 1 secured No. 10 on the English TV list with 1.7 million views as viewers awaited Season 2.’ Carry-On’ remained at No. 9 on the English films list with 2.7 million views. ‘Knight and Day’ appeared at No. 10 on the English films list, with 2.6 million views.

As far as English TV goes, ‘XO, Kitty’ Season 2 ranked No. 2 with 9.2 million views, and Season 1 was at No. 5 with 3.8 million views. ‘American Primeval’ reached No. 3 with 6.7 million views, while ‘Squid Game’ Season 2 stayed at No. 1 on the non-English TV list with 7.9 million views. Other notable shows include ‘SAKAMOTO DAYS’ at No. 2 on the non-English list with 5.7 million views, and ‘The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call’ debuting at No. 3 with 4.7 million views.

On the non-English film list, ‘The Sand Castle’ reached No. 2 with 4.8 million views. The ‘Secret Life of Pets’ franchise performed well, with ‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’ at No. 2 (6.7 million views) and The Secret Life of Pets at No. 3 (4.3 million views). Other films like ‘Despicable Me 2’ and ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru’ also made the list, with 2.8 million and 2.9 million views, respectively.
