Eric Bana Joins Charlize Theron in Netflix Thriller ‘Apex’ – A Deadly Game Begins!

Exciting news for movie fans! Eric Bana is officially joining the cast of the upcoming Netflix survival thriller ‘Apex.’ Deadline reports the film, which already features Charlize Theron in the lead role, will also star ‘Rocketman’ actor Taron Egerton. The project is being directed by Baltasar Kormákur, known for his work on adventure and survival films like ‘Everest’ and ‘Adrift.’

The screenplay, written by Jeremy Robbins, is being described as a mix between ‘Free Solo’ (highly recommend you watch this if you haven’t already) and ‘Silence of the Lambs.’

It follows a rock climber who finds herself being hunted in the wild, making for one hell of a tense and gripping story. While Theron’s role is clear, it is still unknown what character Bana will portray.

‘Apex’ has an impressive lineup of producers, ensuring a high-quality film. Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and David Ready are producing for Chernin Entertainment, while Ian Bryce is producing for Ian Bryce Productions.

Theron is also involved behind the scenes, producing alongside Beth Kono and AJ Dix for Secret Menu. Additionally, Kormákur will contribute as a producer through RVK Studios. Ray Angelic, Will McCance, and Dawn Olmstead are serving as executive producers for Secret Menu.
