Walton Goggins Teases ‘Fallout’ Season 2: ‘Blows It Out of the Water!’

The ‘Fallout’ series on Amazon Prime Video was a huge success, attracting over 100 million viewers and becoming the platform’s second most-watched show after ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.’ The show’s popularity also boosted interest in the ‘Fallout’ video games, leading to a big increase in players.

Critics responded positively and many praised the series for staying true to the games while still being enjoyable for newcomers. Some even called it one of the best video game adaptations ever, comparing it to ‘The Last of Us.’

Soon after the release of the first season, the show was renewed for a second season. Now Walon Goggins, who portrays the lead Cooper Howard in the show provided fans with a new update on the state of the season 2.

Walton Goggins said that they are currently filming and have been working on it since November. He thought Season 1 was amazing, but he believes Season 2 will be even better.

He praised the writers and crew for their incredible work in bringing the story to life. He’s very excited for fans to see it and promised that they are working hard to make it happen. Overall, he’s confident that the new season will exceed expectations.

We’re in the middle of filming it right now, we’ve been at it since November, and I can tell you that I thought Season 1 was extraordinary, personally, I was very pleased with it,” he said. “This blows it out of the water, what these writers have done and the artisans that have come together to tell this story. It’s really gonna be something. I can’t wait for people to see it. We’re working really hard to make that happen.

‘Fallout’ moved its filming location from New York to Los Angeles after receiving a $25 million tax credit. However, production was briefly delayed due to California wildfires.

The show is executive-produced by Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, and Graham Wagner. The cast includes Walton Goggins, Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, and more. Macaulay Culkin is set to join the cast in Season 2.
