‘Pooluminati’ #1 Preview: Deadpool Joins the Ranks of an Elite Secret Society

Deadpool is back with a brand-new adventure just in time for April Pool’s Day. After Earth found itself in the middle of the Kree/Skrull War, Iron Man put together a secret group called the Illuminati, made up of top heroes like Black Panther and Mister Fantastic. Now, it seems Wade Wilson is set to join a similar group—kind of.

In this latest twist, we meet the Pooluminati, a secret society made up entirely of Deadpool variants from across the Multiverse. In the new comic, Deadpool and his daughter Ellie take on an inter-dimensional journey to prove they belong with the Pooluminati. But along the way, dark secrets might come to light.

POOLUMINATI (2025) #1 by Zac Gorman, Alexis Quasarano, Enid Balam, and Todd Nauck opens with Wade Wilson whisking Ellie away to an inter-dimensional portal. Through the rift, they arrive at the Pooluminati’s headquarters, where they are greeted by a vibrant assortment of Deadpool variants from across the Multiverse. Then, father and daughter team up to fight a giant Deadpool mech. What could possibly go wrong?

There’s also a sneak peek at a story—and a squabble—between the two Deadpool daughters, Ellie and Princess. What will the two Deadpools from Earth-616 face as they join the Pooluminati? Find out in POOLUMINATI #1, available March 26.
